SMS marketing is now accessible to most businesses, and text messaging offers a great way for you to connect with your customers on a whole new level. Here at Beetexting, we not only believe text messaging is a great communication tool, but it is also an amazing way to create deeper relationships with people. Why not take it a step further with SMS marketing that is fully dynamic and personalized to the contact that you are sending your messages to? We'll go over our Dynamic Text feature within Beetexting’s Broadcast tool.
If you want to learn more about our Broadcast tool, check out this blog post: https://beetexting.com/text-message-marketing-with-targeted-broadcast-texts/
Start by creating a Broadcast from your Tools section. When you are creating the message that will be sent out, you might notice [firstname] and [companyname] appears at the top right-hand corner of the message box. These are your dynamic text options.
Input [firstname] for, you guessed it, the contact’s first name to appear in that spot within the message. The [companyname] function will fill in the company name, if available. If there is no name available for the contact, that part of the message will be removed and remain blank.
Example
"Hey [firstname], we just started a new sale on our widgets and thought you might be interested! You can check out the items on sale here: ecomm.com/widgets.Reply STOP to stop receving text messages
"Hello [firstname], we just wanted to check in on the work we did for you last month to see how you were liking it. Let us know!”
If the name is not available, the messages would appear as follows:
“Hey , we just started a new sale on our widgets and thought you might be interested! You can check out the items on sale here: ecomm.com/widgets. Reply STOP to stop receving text messages”
“Hello , we just wanted to check in on the work we did for you last month to see how you were liking it. Let us know!”
