The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned. - Isaiah 50:4
Certainly, the gift of speech is given to men by God and certainly, it was given for a purpose. Of all God's creation, He gave the gift of speech to mankind alone. Why do we think God gave man the gift of speech? Here we see one example, "that we should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary."
Do you know anyone who may be weary and need some encouragement?
When we use the gifts God gave us for the reason He gave them to us, it is pure joy.
