Role Details: 

Position: QA Analyst (Manual/Automation)

Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid) 

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web and Mobile Tester with expertise in both Manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and executing both manual and automated tests for web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for developing automated test scripts using tools like Java, Selenium, TestNG, Appium, and conducting manual testing to ensure product quality across multiple platforms. Additionally, you will perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Rest Assured.

For MongoDB testing, you will be required to handle both manual and automated tests, ensuring data consistency and integrity. On an as-needed basis, you will also validate some manual checks to ensure thorough test coverage and quality. Experience with AWS services like EC2 and CloudWatch will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automation Testing: Develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts for both web and mobile applications using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Appium.
• API Testing: Conduct thorough API testing with tools like Postman and Rest Assured in Java, ensuring seamless communication between client-server interactions.
• Database Testing (MongoDB): Utilize your expertise in MongoDB to perform both manual and automated database testing, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and validation of database operations. You will also conduct manual checks on an as-needed basis to ensure thorough data validation and quality.
• AWS Utilization: Leverage AWS services such as EC2 for scalable infrastructure and CloudWatch for monitoring test executions, logs, and metrics, integrating them into the automation process for enhanced performance and reliability.
• Test Strategy: Collaborate with the development and QA teams to create and implement test strategies, ensuring high-quality delivery and fast feedback loops.
• Test Execution and Reporting: Execute automated test cases, log defects, track progress, and generate detailed test reports. Also, execute manual tests as necessary for thorough validation.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing practices, test frameworks, and tools to increase test efficiency and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Web and Mobile Automation using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Appium.
• Strong experience with API testing using tools like Postman and Rest Assured.
• Solid understanding of MongoDB, with experience performing both manual and automated database testing to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and validation. Ability to perform manual checks on an as-needed basis for critical database validations.
• Experience with AWS services, including EC2 for scalable testing infrastructure and CloudWatch for monitoring and logging during test execution.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of test automation best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
