Position: Business Development Representative
Location: Hyderabad, India
Type: Full-time
Position Summary:
The Business Development Representative is responsible for generating new business and expansion opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting and strategic follow-up. This role focuses heavily on new logo acquisition, re-engaging dormant opportunities, and building a consistent pipeline for the sales team.
The ideal candidate is resilient, competitive, coachable, and energized by daily outreach. Success in this role is measured by activity, conversations, qualified opportunities created, and meetings booked with prospective customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development:
- Identify and prospect target accounts that fit Beetexting’s ideal customer profile.
- Conduct high-volume outbound outreach through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Generate interest and uncover opportunities with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new logo opportunities.
- Lead Re-Engagement:
- Follow up with older leads and previously stalled opportunities.
- Reignite conversations with prospects who have shown prior interest.
- Maintain consistent touchpoint cadences to maximize conversion opportunities.
- Appointment Setting:
- Qualify prospects based on need, fit, timing, and potential value.
- Schedule discovery meetings and demos for Account Executives.
- Ensure prospects are properly prepared and positioned for successful sales conversations.
- CRM & Pipeline Management:
- Maintain accurate prospect records and activity tracking within CRM.
- Document conversations, next steps, and opportunity details.
- Follow established outreach sequences and prospecting processes.
Performance Expectations:
Successful candidates will consistently:
- Make 60โ70 outbound calls per day
- Execute daily email and LinkedIn outreach activities
- Generate meaningful conversations with prospective customers
- Schedule a minimum of 5 qualified appointments per week
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Meet or exceed monthly pipeline generation goals
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must have SaaS sales experience with USA customers
- 5+ years of sales, business development, customer-facing, or prospecting experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Ability to handle rejection and remain persistent
- Strong work ethic and desire to grow within a sales organization
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce
- Experience with sales engagement tools and outbound prospecting platforms
Preferred:
- Familiarity with SMS, communications, or customer engagement technologies

In the first 90 days, you will:
- Master Beetexting’s products, value proposition, and target markets
- Consistently execute daily prospecting activity goals
- Build a healthy outbound direct pipeline
- Regularly generate qualified meetings for the sales team
- Become a trusted contributor to Beetexting’s revenue growth
Work Schedule:
- This position requires working during U.S. daytime business hours.
- Availability to support prospecting and customer outreach aligned with U.S. time zones.
Compensation:
- Base Salary + Performance-Based Commission
